Неожиданно для себя не первый уже раз переслушиваю вот этот альбом. Сначала подумал, что это новомодные глупости, но потом вернулся к нему с другим отношением.
Из тяжёлого здесь, наверное, только NSBM шрик-вокал и точечное применение бласт-битов.
В остальном звучит, как если бы Gang Gang Dance переслушали хиты Deep Forest из 90-х, уехали в Бразилию, попили аяуаски, угорели по кандомбле и написали бы саундтрек к мокьюментари про астральную капоэйру.

INCANTVM - Strigae
INCANTVM, a new project by clarinetist VittorioSabelli, former member of Dawn Of A Dark Age and Notturno, is a real black doom orchestra in which Sabelli surrounded himself by a plethora of exceptional musicians
…The vocal parts are entrusted to the interpretation and expressiveness of singer Tenebra (Dreariness) and of singer/interpreter Nequam (The Magik Way), both authors of a masterful and theatrical performance. The drums are played by Aeternus of Handful of Hate, the bass is by Rubrum, while Sparda and none other than Sakis Tolis (RC) alternate with the choirs. Sabelli adds his clarinet, sax and piano.
…The theatrical and prog nature of “Strigae” is enhanced by a rich instrumentation which includes violin, trumpet and double bass and that gives elegance and beauty to INCANTVM’s long compositions, stylistically close to the atmospheric black metal, the horror-tinged doom and the occult metal

Blindead 23, ранее известные как Blindead, это новый тяжеловес польского авант-метала во главе с бывшим гитаристом Behemoth Mateusz “Havoc” Smierzchalski. В состав группы также входят Roger Öjersson (ex-Katatonia) и Pawel “Pavulon” Jaroszewicz (Vltimas, ex-Vader, ex-Decapitated).
